Northwest Oregon Living
Northwest Oregon evokes lush greenery, wide-mouthed rivers, and fruitful vineyards. This part of the state is bound by the Columbia River to the east and west, which separates Northwest Oregon from Washington state. Key cities in this region include the state’s capital, Salem, as well as Wilsonville, Hillsboro, King City, and Estacada. Those living in Northwest Oregon know to expect (and embrace) the annual rainfall and the lushness it brings. The I-5 runs through these cities and offers residents easy access to major cities up and down the West coast. Yet, as with other regions in Oregon, much of this land is still untouched and offers a plethora of outdoor activities for adventurers. The Northwest way of living is all about finding the right balance––between work and play, rain and shine, and the perfect pour of an Oregon wine or beer.
